Government officials have already indicated that the next installment will likely reach the accounts in the first week of November. Most of the verification and banking-related formalities are already completed.
So if everything goes smoothly, the payment should start reflecting soon. Women who didn’t get the previous installment because of technical issues will get their pending amount this time as well.

Who Will Get ₹5000 Instead of ₹2500?

Some women never received the 15th installment. To avoid unfairness, the government has decided that these beneficiaries will receive ₹5000 — meaning the pending amount plus the current installment.
This way, no one feels left out.

What Needs to Be Checked Before Payment?

Before the money is transferred, a few things must be in place:

• The bank account must be linked with DBT.
• Aadhaar details should be fully updated and not in “hold” status.
• If someone has changed their mobile number or bank account, it should be updated at the bank.

These small details often cause payment delays, so the department has asked women to get them sorted early.

Who Can Receive the Benefits?

To be a beneficiary under this scheme, a woman must:

• Live permanently in Jharkhand
• Be between 18 and 50 years old
• Have a family income below ₹2.5 lakh
• Ensure that no one in the family is a government employee
• Not be taking similar financial benefits from another government scheme
• Have an Aadhaar-linked, DBT-activated bank account

How to Check the 16th Installment Status

To check the payment status, here’s what the beneficiary needs to do:

• Open the official website of the Maiya Samman Yojana
• Tap on “Login” or “Applicant Login”
• Enter the application number and password
• After logging in, select “Payment Status”
• Click on “Get OTP”, enter the OTP
• The complete installment details will appear on the screen
